Oiling a Big Sucker
Gents,
I've had a Big Sucker for about a year. Wondering if I should service it like a K&N, Nothing in the literature said anything bout cleaning it or oiling it. What's everyone else doing?

I've got a BS with Zipper filter which doesn't say much either. But a filter does what a filter does and it will get dirty. I figure one day I'll clean it and hose it out, may spray something sticky on it.

You can get a recharge kit from k and n. IT comes with cleaner and oil. You spray the filter with the cleaner and rinse it with cold water, let it dry, and re oil it. This is what k and n suggests. Each time I do a service I clean the filter.
