Hey yall, I just bought vance and hines big shots staggerd pipes for my 08 softail custom. The next thing i need is a tuner I like the power commander III the only thing that worries me is bypassing the o2 sensors, can anyone give me any insight on that? Thanx Willieb

What the bypass uses is a 1 Meg resistor in place of the 02 sensors, it basically ends all function of the 02 system and the adaptive fuel, if you view a SERT data log after the resistors are installed ,the mapped VE's and the corrected/calculated(by the factory 02's) VE numbers will run in unison. It is your call if you choose to use a fuel management system that incorporates them(02 sensors) or not. I feel there are advantages and disadvantages to both ways.
