Default RE: cpmpression help

There really isn't enough info to answer your question as there are lots of variables.

Assuming everything HD tells us is correct and assuming you have a deck height of 0. That would yield a compression ration of around 9.4:1. In reality, your combustion chambers are more than likely between 86 and 88 cc's and could be anywhere from 84 to 90 cc's. Your deck height is again more than likely to be below deck at .005" to .020". If we use a average of 87cc for you combustion chamber volume and .010" deck height that would place you compression ratio around 9:1.

To accurately calculate your compression ratio, you would need to know your actual deck height, combustion chamber volume and piston head volume (valve reliefs on a flat top).

I would guess you are somewhere between the numbers I have suggested and probably closer to the 9:1 number.
