Just curious- I just installed a Vance and Hines true dual system on my '06 Springer Classic (88" 5 speed). The bike is stock minus the Stage 1 air cleaner kit and Stage 1 download. I previously had the Screamin' Eagle Slip-Ons prior to the Vance and Hines system.
 \\;
The new systm pops through the exhaust more than the previous system while decelerating- any concerns?
 \\;
Also- I assume that the Stage 1 download does not disappear when the battery is disconnected, right?
 \\;
Thanks!!!
 \\;
By the way- the fit/finish on the Vance and Hines system is superb and the install went smoothly.

You will find a lot of posts about this....with varying degrees of concern about it. Some will say omg you're bike is gonna explode you need to buy a PCIII and get dynotuned by an expert this moment. Others like me after reading it all think hmm, doens't seem to be hurting my bike, and sounds cool, so I"m not worried
The stage 1 download is not meant for true duals so the bike is not running correctly. \\;You will need to get some sort of fuel manager and you might able to get away with just \\;the V&\\;H fuel pak.

I personally would get a PCIII and get the bike dyno tuned so it is running correctly.
