Will taking out the baffles heart my bike?

Baffles:
reduce exaust noise
create "back-pressure" in the system
lenght of tubing affects tuning and powerband
air and fuel mix going into a chamber,to leave this chamber the spent gasses are pushed out by the piston out the exaust.A baffle restricts the exit speed to allow the incoming (mixed)charge time to enter the cylinder.In a balanced system ,what goes in = what goes out.If you allow more to leave than enter,your lean, if you allow more to enter than what leaves ,your rich.
