Default help with pushrods..

o.k. fellas.. i read a lot of thresds on this topic, but cant find the answer i was looking for. im trying to understand this part, but its still a little foggy. im installing andrews 26 cams. im getting close to the pushrod part. my main question is bring the front piston to the top (tdc) does the front cam need to be at the heel of the lobe ( the front cam has a dot, thats at 3 oclock. then do i adjust both those front pushrods? then i know to wait untill they bleed down ( time/feel) then rotate the rear wheel until that pistons at (tdc) and the rear cams dot at 3 oclock ( heel of the lobes) then do the push rods. is this correct? still a little unsure.. ill wait untill i find the right way. thanks inadvance.

Here's what I did:

put the bike in 5th gear, raise it up so the rear tire is off the ground. move the wheel in either direction until you are at approximately the middle of the closed cycle of the cam for the front cylinder, then do that one. then repeat for the rear.

they are hydraulic lifters, so there is some play in them that will be made up with the oil they will get filled with. just make sure they are off the lobe...

Be sure and wait 15 minutes for the tappets to bleed off before you go to the rear cylinder. If you rotate the engine before they bleed off you can bend a valve or worse. Always check the pushrod by twisting it. If it doesn't turn easy there is still pressure against it so wait some more. They should both turn easily before rotating motor.
