Kidding, but with an 05 with EFI you will always be a little lean, even with Stage 1. The coffee with cream would be a good color IMO, telling you there is enough fuel while burning effeciently. But, you probably need a SERT, PCIII, etc. to get it right.
My 05 WG with Stage 1 has my plugs pearly white, still a little too lean. I plan on a SERT / Dyno tune. A little richer and it will run better, keep heads a little cooler, and still be effecient. Dark brown and darker would be a carb bike trying to make big power, but I don't think that is what you would want.

thanks alot. that is what they are and that is what the shop says i agree with you that a sert or one of the turner;s would do a better job.with the way we got to run the new motors between the leaness and un leaded gas i do run high octane as i can . with the E.P.A. it sure has changed .
