'05 Fatboy MAP sensor diagnosis

This is a carbed bike. Anyone know how to properly diagnose a faulty MAP sensor ??

Take it to a reputable Harley Shop, preferably not the local stealer. CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG, re-mapping is for FUEL INJECTED bikes. Carbed is done through re-jetting, main and pilot jets. Other fine tuning done through ignition module, ex. timing and rpm limits.

Think John is talking about a, "Manifold Absolute Pressure", sensor.
But like you I don't know how that works with a carbed engine.

think i read that the m.a.p. sensor on carbed bike is used to advance/retard timing..check it? ....you could remove it apply vacume with a volt meter attached and see it if there is a response
