Anybody else install this??? How much did it boost your oil presuure??
This winter Installed Big bore kit Se 203 cams new lifters all new cam bearings gaskets etc
and also a new Zippers oil bypass shim!! I of course pulled out the the old spring and plunger to make sure every thing is nice and clean before installing the shim!!!
I only have about 55 miles on the bike since I have it back together, I just got back riding 25 miles granted its cold outside about 45 degrees and going down the highway my oil pressure is about 58 psi and at idle its about 30 psi!!!
Now this shim is suppose to only raise pressure about 3-5 psi!!!!
So why is mine so high?
Bike runs great !!! also PC III custom map from fuel moto and monster ovals!!!
Seems like a lot of needless pressure on your chain tensioners, which may or may not reduce their life. Don't know for sure, but it would make sense.

I've run one for about a year now. No problem whatsoever. Nothing unusual.
But I don't have a oil pressure guage on the bike. Now I wonder.
But I would double check the guage. When the engine is off does it go to Zero?, for starters.

This does not make since to me !!! the tensioners are spring loaded not Hydrolic why would more oil pressure make them wear more?
