Hello all,
Im a new Harley owner of a 2003 Fatboy, and I was wondering if the slight ticking noise in the engine area is normal on Harleys. Its not a loud tick, just a lite constant tick. The oil looks good and is not burning oil and the engine runs well and is responsive. Thanks in advance.
Normal. Get to know that "tic". That way when it gets louder or becomes a clatter you will recognize that somethings wrong. (Brought to you by the voice of experience.)
that is normal...if you decide to upgrade your valve train..heavier springs etc,...you'll hear it even more..but you'll know between normal and abnormal..if it sounds sick it probably is.
