Yep. They should be fine. the nick is close enough to the edge where the rollers won't touch it. The physical strain on the cam lobe is relatively small, especially when considering how beefy the lobes are so I wouldn't be at all worried about it "coming apart" in anyway. Install and enjoy.
Unless you are also going in there to replace cam chain tensioners, or would simply like the exercise of replacing cams, save the money you would spend on gaskets, tuning, bearings, lifters, etc. and wait until you can buy a good set of cams. I'm pretty frugal when it comes to spending $$$ on my bike and spending any money to install SE 203's is very nearly a waste of money; they're better than stock for sure, but not that much better to justify the parts and tuning necessary for the installation IMO.
In any case, good luck with your project.
P.S. I have Head Quarters HQ-0034 cams in my '04 FLHTPI and haven't thought about a 95" build since they were installed 2+ years/20K ago.
Tough call... They would probably be ok. But, if it were my bike that is worth $$$$'s they would not go in. New 21's and 26's are $200 on eBay - a small percentage of your total bikes worth and you have a frikin nice bike!! fwiw - take your time and search eBay and craigslist. I got new 21's for $80 shipped.
If I could get a good deal on a new set of 26's that would be nice. I have heard that 203's aren't the greatest, but they are better than stock and I got them for next to nothing.
I have another set of cams somewhere that are WAAAAY overkill for what I need. I think they are CVO-253 or something like that.
So - 21s or 26's??? Either way, I haven't found a set for under $250.... I want to find a set for around $100 or so.... considering I am going to have to replace the tensioners as well.
If I had $700 I would do the hydraulic conversion and get the 26N's..
My dealer uses the 203's, another dealer near home uses 204//4*advance, and yet the 3rd dealer around here uses 211's.
I ended up with Andrews 26h's and really like the tq line it makes, the 203;s has a close line to the 26's but fall off sooner.
