Default CO measurement at exhaust...what should it be?

just installed a mikuni 42mm on a 90 softail and I am trying to fine tune it...my question is what should the co (carbon monoxide) reading be at an idle with the engine fully warmed up....mine is at 5.5% is that ok or too rich...and what should I if anything do about it? the bike is running great with no black smoke or backfire so maybe I should just leave it alone..what do you guys think?

That is a little rich but all you will ahve to do is change your plugs and oil more often. I run my 97 FLHR at 9.9.
