Gotta look at the oil spects. It is and energineering fact that Synthetic oil from almost any manufacture is superior to so called Dyno.
I run Synthetic in every engine I have. I especially use this in aircooled engines.
I figure my Harley doesn't see near as much load as my Dixie Chopper.
If you are worred about 20-50 viscosity, use 20-60 especially in the Summer.

It was demonstrated while developeing and test the new cam plate design at R&R Cycle that although synthetic oil has better lubricity, it doesn't have the hydrology properties of straight weight fossil oil and will aerate more which causes the lifters to not fully pump up and amplify the heat and sumping issues. Lucas oil reps tried to get R&R to endorse their synthetic oils, R&R Cycle endorses and sells Torco 50wt and 60wt fossil oil with most of their 2,000 to 2,500 inhouse install and service jobs per year. They hold several patents on their case and cam plate designs for the twin cam engines.
