Default Valve spring compression

When I had the heads reworked, I had S/E behives installed. I'm now thinking of going with a hotter cam than the S/E 211's, but a few of the cams that I'm looking at have a lift that's 5 to 10 thousands more than the .575 max. recomended lift. Would I chancing it too much by streching a few extra thousands?

Just change the springs. Be sure you get the spring pressure right.

Pulling the heads back off was something I was looking to avoid.

Woods 7H cam has a 0.575 lift unless it has been changed.
Some of his cams have basicly two versions. Some 3.
Real High, High, and not too, too High.
Check them out.
they all work real well.
