I use seafoam (red/white metal can) in my 96 F-150. I always run 89 octane in my truck and occasionally 93 if it's all I can get. My fuel injected 302 v8 seems to do well when I run the stuff through the tank and the occasional cleaning through the vac lines straight into intake manifold for a top cylinder cleaner.
I would assume it would do the same for cleaning a bike's engine. I know a lot of truck guys and farmers with old tractors swear by the stuff and I've had great luck with it. But I guess it's not as needed for a bike that always gets 93 octane that pretty much comes with additives already mixed in.
I have a 97 wide glide with a 95 inch stroker motor in it. 10:1 comp, HI-PO heads,.600 cam, etc. I do add an additive and it works well for me. I run 93 octane plus a booster called rocket fuel, not sure who makes it but you can do a search for it. It definitly makes a difference in my motor, I guess it kind of depends what you have inside yours as to how it will increase performance.
when i'm on the road. and cant get any gas more than 91 octane i use L.H.P. you can get it thru J&P cycles works great no pinging.most of the time i run 92 octane.
