I was wondering if any of you guys and girls use any kind of fuel additive during the summer months when they mix what they call summer blend for less emissions during the hotter months. And if so what do you recommend??
My bike never missed or popped on decel until the past couple weeks since they started watering down the gas or what ever it is they do to it??????????????
Ok, Maybe I need to rephrase the question. Since the gas they are selling us is barely one step above **** as it was put earlier. If you were to use an additive, what would you use or recommend???
I know the price of gas sucks but that isn't any reason to just let my bike run like crap because of it and possibly cause damage to the motor.
I have noticed in the last 2 fillups(less than two weeks)that I went from 42 mph to 37mph with no changes to bike or driving habits.

Run Super unleaded, watch your mileage and look into a simple octane booster if you think you need it. If you don't have any knocking problems then just live with the higher prices and roll on. We have been riding our bikes for a lot of years and I have never worried about summer gas vs winter gas. It's just gas. If the bike runs, it's fine. Your not going to do an damage to your motor. It's going to burn pretty much anything you dump in there. Stay away from the off brand gas if you are worried about **** in there.
