That's the exact pipes I'm thinking about for my soon to be delivered 05 Fat Boy. I am interested in how they sound and how loud they are with the baffles. I have heard that the V&H are loud, I'm hopeing with the baffles that they are not too loud.....

Put the same pipes on my '04 FXD last month, they are are good looking, sound great, but stock baffles, are LOUD!. The nice thing is that they are shorter and lower than stock so you can remove the axle and not have to fiddle with the position of the pipes. Bike seems to run better, but make sure that any carb adjustments or EFI remapping is done correctly or mileage will take a tumble.

Guy's you can go to Pythons staggerd, that's what I did and there also made by V&Hs for Drag Specialities, they just don't have the adj. tip's which I like, there also cheaper at $357 from Eastern Proformance.

I'm running mine with the stock baffles that came with the V&H. Photo with pipes installed on my '04 Dyna.

The adjustable tips are a nice little feature. My V&H from directparts.com were $445.00 shipped to the door, which I didn't think was too bad. Direct Parts has them on special from now and then, a little shopping may get them a bit cheaper.

As I've said in another thread; I've got the staggereds with the quiet baffles and they are just right for me. Stock baffles were a little loud, but they are easy to change out if I feel the need to set off car alarms in the neighborhood.
