I have had 2 different air cleaners on my 08 FLHX with the SE 58 TB. The first one I had was the 29515-08 SE Unit that uses the stock outer cover, it uses a SE pleated paper element and K&N does not make an element to fit if you desire to fit one. The one I have on it currently is the SE Heavy Breather , this unit will fit the 50 and the 58 TB's. I like the HB a bit better for the leg room it gives me, I had to ride bowlegged with the first unit. Bob Wood makes a 58 SE unit but I am sure it sticks out a mile as the elements he uses are very tall, yes I know why he uses the tall elements. These 2 SE a/c's are the only units that I have had any experience with personally on the 58 TB. Oh nice color choice btw.
I have the Doherty PowerPACC for the stock 50mm TB on mine now, but the "velocity ring" was robbing me of 5 horses, and the filter doesn't flow enough fir the 107" and I picked up another 5 by removing it in the dyno.

Interesting ,I have always heard the opposite , just no data to ever compare to. 5 hp seems a bit high .
On the stock throttle body it was great, but with the T-man 107'', 58mm thottle body and .625 cams it just isn't cutting it. First thing is, the backplate isn't 58mm. While it was on the dyno we just weren't getting the numbers we were looking for so we took out the velocity ring and picked up 5, the left the filter off and another 5. And were still a little shy of what we thought we would get. So I thought about having it cut out to 58, but then I would have to put on a taller filter and that would put it in my knee even more than it is now.
I was thinking about the 2 into 1 single bore S&S, but S&S tells me it won't work on the SE 58mm. They can't really tell me why, but do confidently say it won't fit.
