do you know what compression ration are you running? And I am assuming you have the original heads on it? List these on your post and someone will tell you exactly what cams to put in it.
instead of a cam you should buy a TTS how are you going to tune the new cam in with only access to fuel. . the rev tek fuel mgmt is a dfo you need a tuning device first then a 21 cam. .
Have 21's, DFO in my 88", plan on leaving them in if a 95" kit happens. Google DFO, TFI, Revtech, cams, 95"... lots of info.
TTS would be better but expensive and not necessary. The TTS Vtune will not work with pre 05 ecm's so you would have to pay for a dyno or a new ecm and sensors, wiring harness, 02 bungs. Or get a PC and a map or a dyno. Your DFO is installed and paid for, go for the cams, you will feel the difference.
im going to a tts for my 05 bike o2 sensors are not required only if wanting v-tune.
also a 05 ecm will work to hook up the sensors. also if some one has a SERT... the upgrade sending your dongle to mastertune and have them upgrade the sert to the new specs is a bonus. ...
the TTS gives a smoother easier tune compared to the SERT. ya can just get into all other rpm settings and parameters that the SERT cannot.
a lot of people want and do up grades with out getting the most out of a stock engine first usually the added power they feel by going to cams and air cleaner can be had by going toa ac and a good dyno tune.
true a TTS and dyno tune will run ya close to 900 bucks in this economy its a lot of coin but a cooler better running bike is well worth it .
Peace guys
