I have a 01 88b, last year I was getting about 40mpgs, I found a air leak this spring and replaced all the gaskets on the intake. I had broke the choke cable and replaced it with a mikuni cable. I now get around 30 mpgs. There is free play in the cable, I now have a 165 main, 50 pump nozzel, 17.5 pilot jet and a 98 needle clip in the middle. By all rights this set up should get me around the 40+ mpg's. What else do I check or do. I also put new wires and plugs in the bike.
Waht about a possible ignition problem? I had help with the plugs being read and it appears we are to lean now. It was brought up it may be the screamin eagle ignition. Is there any way to verify the ignition?
