Wow, that's a lot. Doesn't your dealer give a discount if you bought the bike new?? I get 15% off for the first year I own the bike, Where did you get the tips, at the dealer also? Wat cut did you get, slash downs, or straight cut? I was cusrious if they mak nice looking tips for the slash downs.
that was with therush mufflers with the 2.25 baffles, race tuner and stage I kit done and the tips, also the labor. i got 20 % off labor and harley parts and 10 % off rush parts.
here is rushs page http://www.epiflex.com/rush_motorcycle_mufflers.html
Thanks for the info. If I wasn't happy with the sound of the 2.25's would I be able to just order bigger or smaller baffels and just replace them without buying new pipes? Sounds logical to me but I am a novice at this.

Since you're from Clarks Summit I'm assuming the dealer you're referring to is Electric City HD. If you get on their mailing list, they run even better discounts during their sales events (20%). They run service specials too. Coincidentally, they just installed a similar setup for my 06 'Bob 2 weeks ago for around $860 including labor: Rush straight cut slip-ons (2" baffles), Kuryakyn Hi Five A/C, SERT, & Dyno tune. The reason for the lower price is that I actually bought this stuff (and more) during their 20% off sale in December.
I can't say enough about the guys at Electric City: Kevin in parts, Ron & Mike in the shop. I wasn't sure about the slip-ons. But when I told them what I was looking for they pointed me in the right direction. After everything was installed the dyno printout shows 80.53 HP & 84.88 TQ. They didn't expect that much gain for an otherwise stock TC88 bike. Your TC96 would probably do better with the same setup. The Rush slip-ons sound excellent too! A nice deep rumble at idle and enough growl to wake up that cager drifting into your side when you crack the throttle. Now if only the weather would pick up...
Here are a couple of cell phone shots that I took while my bike was in the shop at Electric City:
Thanks for the info. Yes I bought my bike at Electric City in AUgust and I get the 15% discount on Tuesdays and 10% the rest of the week for a year. I am on the mailing list and maybe I should wait a few weeks to see if the come out with any discounts...no hurry with this bitter cold weather. I did get a flyer from NOTO's in WIlkes-Barre their sister store for 25 % off on Feb 10th only but it specifies Harley Davidson parts only so I don't think it would apply to the pipes but I am going to try anyway. So far my price at ELectric City is $783 with the discount and not including labor so it's close to what you paid. That's the 2.25 baffles, SE A/C and the SERT. Pipes look real good on your bike. I think I'm going to add the tips. I'll post again when it is all done. Joe, Where are you from...Didn't see anything in your profile. Thanks again for the feedback.
