My Sporty is 90% take off parts. I found a early EFI FLH stage1 for $40.
The bracket was too large, so it got trashed, and I used the Sporty stock one. I had to add to nuts to the bolts that hold the bracket on, to plug the holes in the back of the plate.
The vent pass through bolts from the kit were smaller in diameter, so I used helicoils to bridge the gap in bolt sizes. Lock tighted it all up, and Vola! Stage 1 on a 2008 Sportster!
