Even at the risk of exposing myself to ridicule, i wany to know about baffle sizes, 1 3/4, 2, 2 1/4..... Does the smaller the baffle mean more restrictive and therefore less noisy or is it the opposite, If you want to by a slip-on and you want it loud are you best the biggest or smallest baffle?

The numbers are the inside diameter of the baffle. For example Rush slip-ons come in 1.5; 1.75; 2.0; 2.25; and 2.50. The bigger the number the bigger the hole, and the louder the muffler. So if you want a loud sound get the larger numbered baffle. Rush explains it in their website at www.epiflex.com
