My experience with the Woods 555 has been excellent. Yes, it likes more compression, so I stuck a 4 deg. advance in. And this cam will grow with future mods. I am very happy w/ results to date. Good luck.

Not sure what engine is in the xbones, but I can share my recent experience on a TC96.. Pulled the heads this winter and started working them in small steps and flowing. Most "typical" ports which these are respond to similar things. Although they improved, i was dissappointed with the numbers. Finally figured out the throttle body was the problem and switched to a 51mm body with the smallest runners I could get. The numbers took off. Morale of the story is after your cams are done, I'd be inclined to leave the heads and just do the throttle body. The 96 heads really aren't bad, again, assuming like me your looking to liven it up and not every last HP. And yes i get in a perfect world you should do something with the exhasut. But this is a a fast and cheaper way to acheive a similar result. I have put the 204's in as well and will let you know in a couple of weeks.
