Background- 95", weisco -2.0 pistons, hq-34 cams,heads off 09 model milled 30 thousands(that's all I know got them from a friend that got them off a take off 09 and he had the work done that he was going to use them for one of his builds but let me have them,sometimes it's nice to have good friends), d&d fatcat, fuelmoto pcIII with their map.
Took it to my indie to have a couple of pulls to see where she's at just to see if it needed a full dyno or if jamies make is close enough. His map is close but there a decent diP at 2500 rpm. Bike runs good but I will prob pay for full dyno since I know dip is there.
Pull #'s with fuel moto map was 96.2hp/104.9tq

Those hq cams are nice little cams. I was only hoping for 85/95 with this build so I'm quite happy.
You should see improvement in power and mileage with a good dyno tune. I usually get 42-43 on highway cruising 75-80. I'm using the TTS and had it tuned by Ed Dahir at The Dyno Difference. A good tune is very important with any build IMO.
Solid numbers for a 95". I doubt your numbers will improve much with a full tune but you might be able to improve mileage if it's low; you should be getting 40-42mpg.
That dip is a characteristic of the Fatcat; it may look nasty on paper but if you can't feel it and the bike starts easy, hot/cold and runs good, don't sweat it.
Yeah it does look nasty. What's funny what Ive read on older post is the dip happens around 3500 rpms but mine is at 2500 kinda right at the beginning of what is the start of the sweet spot. To be honest I haven't really noticed it, or maybe I'm just blind and dumb and dont know what it feels like.
Btw the dip in the tq is about 10/11 but the hp only dips about 3. I guess I'll have to see. Thx for all the info
