Question Arrows on Evo Pistons

Which direction should the arrow point on the top of a stock Evo piston, I had the cylinders bored and the engine shop installed the pistons into the cylinders, with the arrows pointing toward the exhaust valve.

My manual (1989 Softail) is no help.

Thanks for the quick reply Phil.

I kinda think I already knew the answer, but was hoping for somebody to tell me I was wrong...

Put the front jug and head on and torqued the head, arrow to front.

Put the rear jug, piston and head on, torqued the head, then could not remember if I had looked at the direction of the arrow...

Shined a light into the spark plug hole and I can clearly see the arrow-

Pointing toward the rear...
