Default need help

i have an 01 duece w/ 257 cams se heads 10.5 forged pistons, my question is can i replace the cams w/se258 cams or am i going to run into problems w/ clearance only duration is different, reason im doing this is a lifter got stuck and wiped out the roller bearing and cam on front cylinder so i have to replace but i have a new set of 258 cams so any help would be great

Really can't say for sure. If you knew what kind of clearance you had with the 257's it would be easier as the 258's have .011" more intake lift and .008" exhaust lift at TDC. At .224" intake and .208" I would definitely be checking. Also the 258's are gonna like abit more compression as the intake closes 4 degrees later the the 257.
