I Have Dyna Superglide 2009 and i wanted to change the mid control to forward one. I havfollowed the instructions on the right side and it is done. Now, i got stuck on the left side. I removed the outter promary promary cover. all screws and everything. now the inner primary cover is stuck and i cant remove it.
i need to remove it. any chance to guide me please?
Do you own a soft blow or rubber hammer ? You tap all around the outer primary angling the blows towards yourself ...just light taps to break it free of the gasket and the locating pins .. very softly and evenly around the seam
Thanks for your reply. Actually the starter was stuck somehow thus I wasn't able to release the inner primary. However, I managed to do that. Now everything is in place and ready to go except some wires as I couldn't figure out it's exact place. Only 2 have no place and don't ask me why
I think I have to check the electronic diagram to fix that.
Sorry i'm an old fart and you have to tell me stuff 2-3 times .and then I forget ..I thought you were having probs taking off the outer primary ...well if the starter won't come off hit it with a hammer too ! (kidding)
You're on your own with the electrics ..thats why I tag em all as I take em off ......then forget what the tags meant .......have fun when you're young cause gettin old SUCKS!!!!!!!
