I have a 2010 Super Glide Custom FXDC, all stock and want to replace the slip on mufflers so I can get rid off the cats (I believe they are in the mufflers and not in the head pipes) and some heat.
Does anybody know if the 80112-97 or 80258-99A will fit my bike and head pipes? Like I said, I just want to eliminate the catalytic convertors and probably would gain a little more sound as well since the above mufflers should be less restrictive.
Any advice or your experience with either set up is greatly appreciated.
Yes, yours are in the mufflers. You may want to research if you need to do anything else to the bike after the cats are gone. You'll probably get a hundred different answers, though.
The 80258's should fit your head pipes. Those are Screamin Eagles and I bought a pair but the slash outs. They will fit my 07 pipes, and should work with the stock muffler bracket, but I haven't tried to install them yet. Not sure about the other part number.
Hope this helps.
