This bike is a new area to me, be gentle.
It's getting delivered so I haven't had a chance to hear it in person. I'm already thinking this exhaust is just going to be too loud. I might like it, I might want to tame it down. I want it a bit longer regardless. I like the looks of the V&H big radius...no long shots. I've seen some martin bros that I like also.
What I need to know is what year/engine exhaust should I be looking for that will fit this.
Thx for any help.
It's a 05 APC with a 96" S&S. Typical softail wide tire pro-street chopper.
Take a look at our website in the next 1-2 weeks. There will be some Thunder Torque (Q) Inserts on there that might quiet your new pipes down enough so that you can keep them bad boys.
PLUS they'll increase your low and mid range power!
Nice bike Shore!...The 96: S&S is an EVO style motor. Any Evo / Twin Cam Exhaust will mount the exhaust ports. Where on the frame it will attach is another matter.
Ahh, these pipes are Santee LAF's. I'm certain they will be too loud. Couldn't be good for the engine to run these all the time. No baffles, no back pressure.
