Winter project upgrade 88"
I am starting to plan my winter project...
My '03 has a relatively stock 88". I have a big sucker air cleaner, pro-pipe, and PC3.
Here is what I NEED to do:
Replace stock cam chain tensioners.
Here is what I WANT to do:
Change cam chain tensioners, add new cams, and bump up to a 95".
Are there any all in one "kits" available either from a shop or catalog for around $1000.00 or less that include all the parts necessary to do this?

Well, the cam tensioner upgrade will run $350, cams around $300, and here's a link to the pistons and jugs on eBay:

To make it all work together you will need head work done. Say $400 for that.
Parts cost will be around $1,650

Andrews 37's or 26's
Cam bearings
S&S Pushrods
OEM chain tensioners
Barnett clutch spring
A bit over your cap of $1000.00, but this combo will have outstanding, trouble-free results for the dollar spent.
