Go to (www.goodson.com). They sell av&v products, which are good quality. I bought a set a year ago(part# hvs-6000s) for $89.90, but I just looked them up right now and they're going for $138.49. Wow they went up almost $50 in one year. They do come with everything needed (springs, keepers, collars and retainers).
Thanks, Toofat, too bad I didn't look into this a year ago! Still, good price. Anyone know how quality of AVV springs compare to VThunder, which are a little more expensive but in the same range for steel retainers. Any real need for titanium retainers for a street engine? I know it will lighten the valvetrain, but how much does that really matter for RPM's generally less than 6,000. I occasionally rev the motor that high, but not often.

HI there just saw your post and your mods, you know you could probably pick up a complete set of heads off of a 07 up 96" already with the beehive springs and the improved flow characteristics of the head complete on e bay for around 200 bucks or so . Nothing like adding a little HP in the process for just a few more bucks.
Not a bad idea, except that my heads are ported, so for me that doesn't make sll that much sense. They're about to get cc'd and milled to bump my compression back up where it's supposed to be. The signature isn't entirely accurate, as I discovered that my actual compression turned out to be more like 9.7:1, not the 10.25:1 it was supposed to be. It's going to get set at 10.6:1, and while the heads are off I'm thinking I'll upgrade the springs. I have another cam in mind that willl work wel with this compression (the 585 will like it as well) that needs more spring travel than I have currently. That cam is the Tman 625. That's the reason for looking for the springs.
I use both AV&V & V-Thunder as well as Manley. The Ti retainers aren't really necessary as the smaller retainer used with the Beehives is lighter than a stock one. The .650 AV&V kit is a nice one.
