What I'm sayin is look into fabbin up an open teardrop style. Keep the S&S backplate, find or fit a cover to the shaped filter I showed ya.

Hell, bring your bike over I'll do it! ha!

This thing is pretty freakin cool. $260 is crazy due to the fact that you use your own base and filter.
