Default 01 Road King engine removel

I need to remove the engine, primary, trans etc. Can they all be removed at a unit or will I need to remove at least the trans in order to get it out of the frame.

Thanks

Paul

Don't think I would try to remove them as a unit , even if it is possible, they go in as a unit in the factory but that's another story.Take the primary and trans off, make your life a little easier.

May I ask why you are removing the engine? Just curious.

Pauled, I told you before, but I will offer again, I have a sh**load of original engine parts for a 01 TC88 if you want them, FREE TO A GOOD HOME, plus I have a inside primary case, clutch, seat, boards, grips, mirrors, etc.

I also have a set of Spokey rims and Tires for sale, cheap, front rubbers great, back is poor.

Thanks for the info.....

I figured I have to remove the trans and primary...

John TN is right. The bike was in a fire and I am taking it completely apart to clean and repair. As you can guess anything plastic, rubber etc melted. THe outer primary is slightly melted but the frame and motor are in great shape. Inside looks great also. The bike only had 3000 miles on it.

I will post pics when I get a change.

Thanks for you help guys.
