I have been reviewing performance upgrades for my 103" bike. I have recently installed a reinhart 2:1, SE air cleaner and done 3 TTS V-tunes. The bike is much better than before. However, I have plans to install a 30 tooth trans sprocket, mainly to use 6th gear more here in Canada (speed limit 60mph, high fines and loss of licence if 30 mph over!). I would like to install cams, based on 95% solo riding with rider plus equipment at, say 240 lbs. I have seen calculators that convert cam timing into RPM 'sweet spot' or turn on rpm used for cam selection for riding style choice. My questions are:
1. Is there a link to a harley trans ratio vs. speed calculator?
2. can I go with a cam more to the right torque-wise (6%?) with the 30 tooth?
3. cam choice based on above mods plus 30 tooth sprocket? intake close of 42 degrees sounds good?
Thanks.
