Cracked Exhaust Header

Cracked Exhaust Header
Was working on the bike this morning and found a 1 inch crack on the crossover pipe just above where it connects to the main header. Bike is a '00 Classic with 28k miles. I'm the third owner, but headers appear to be stock.
This normal for stock headers on six year old bike?

Yeah, I wish I could afford them right now.
I could either get some true duals, or patch what I've got and get some Hogtunes speakers, or buy a cheap used set of stock headers on eBay and get some Hogtunes speakers, or . . . ad infinitum. Also need to get a SERT and EZ clutch kit and . . .
So many things to do, so little money to do it with.
