I was wanting to retorque my exaugst nuts.I have Python staggered duals(05 Fatboy)and I cant
find the torque values for them.Does anyone know whay they are??I heard new pipes should
be retorqued a coupl of times because they can loosen up quick. Thanks Ray
I'm not too scientific about it but I did check the headbolts and snugged them up a couple times after I rode it a bit.
I did notice them loosening up somewhat.. I think due to gasket compression.
Usually the heating and cooling cycles are what loosens the nuts. Use a high temp thread locker with the proper torque and this should help. As always you need to check the bolts and nuts on your ride, you'd be surprized what can loosen up and cause trouble.
