My opinion is that they are a cheesy gimmick that should have been left in the 90's. However, they do compliment a well groomed mullet and pair of pointy-toed snakeskin boots rather well. As for performance, they will perform no better than a K&N filter.
I was never a big fan of the vacuum operated "butterfly" which is a total joke. They could easily make the Hyperchargervery cool and functional by elimination the bling.
