I have a 48, and I had a Heavy Breather on my bike and hated the way it looked. So my question for all you guys out there, is what A/C do you guys like? Pictures of all kinds are greatly appreciated, and I also want the performance the SE Heavy Breather produced, any suggestions?
I have a 5 inch open element with a k&n filter. I am ditching the k&n though. They just don't filter well enough and the contaminants end up in the oil as silica which is very bad. I am looking into an amsoil filter. They last forever and no messy oiling of the filter element. You just blow compressed air through from inside out to clean them. And they filter 10 times better than a gauze.
There's a bazillion K&N filters on bikes out there (I've got four). I hope they're not too detrimental. Got a link for perfomance data on the Amsoil filter.
