Default Which EFI controler

All the threads discuss the advantages of PCIII's vs Cert's. PCIII's give the owner control of their settings, but bypass the O2 sensor imputs. The Cert's utilize all the info the bike feeds back, but a dealer visit ($$$) comes with each upgrade. Has anyone tried the ThunderMax EFI controller which seems to have the advantages of both systems and not the disadvantages? The company may be blowing smoke, but if it works, why not? Give me your feedback!

New info on TCII, Zippers, Thundermax, etc... every day.
I for one like seeing the new info, as it seems a much better way to go.

Techlusion TFI, simple is sometime better. Will not work with some big lift high duration cams but otherwise great. No dyno time.

Being that I have used both the Zippers unit and the DTT I myself use the DTT. We like the DTT as we find that we get better throttle response, better fuel milage, as well the system tunes in much much faster. Now not to pat myslef our our crew on the back but doing some where near 200 builds last year we get to see what works and what does not the pros and cons of many many parts, and systems. We have tested both back to back and have found the we like the DTT better. Cost wise they are close. With a selling price of 799.95 on a complete system that will enable you to tune your own bike with two O2 sensors , front and rear cylinders, and end up with a tune that truly is dead on. How can you go wrong, looking at the price of a sert, then tuning, you are in the same price range. Change a part you donot have to go back to a tuner. You can do it yourself.

Now for a simple controller that is 179.95,..take a look at the DTT fuel controller. You can download PC maps into it. This little item is simple to use and you get the advantage of being able to adjust over the entire range with the PC software then download it into the DTT unit. Now you could also buy the DTT scan tool and use it to tune the Sert or PC yourself as well if you already have one of those items. There are many ways for the avg guy to tune the bike himself and know that you are are in a safe AFR ratio without taking it to a shop . As there are many out there that do not have shops that can tune correctly, or a shop may be 4+ hours away. That can turn into a huge hassle.
