I want to first thank everyone in advance for your inputs.
I have a 2013 FLD, bought new less than month ago. At 50 miles noticed oil on exhaust, thought it was from intake, so kept wiping it off, Took to harley at 230 miles. They said it was pushrod tube seals. Had replaced. Then at 500 miles it leaked again. Took it back. The did preinspection on bike and saw left rear turnsig out. While it was there i had decided to go with screaming eagle intake, have them cut baffles and reprogram bike quoted me at 500 and some change.
They called me up three hours later and said come get bike and drive it till parts came in for pushrod seals and just keep wiping it. I showed up, and was then told cant take home cause turnsignal still out and it was due to a fault code. I asked if i can get a loaner and they said no. So i said i wanted a deal on the upgrades i was getting, they said sure.
Next day was told BCM was bad, come get bike and drive it for two weeks till parts come in for that. When i left i noticed it surges like im outa gas in the 1100-1800 rpm range in first through third. Get home and noticed that when they plasma cut baffles out they cut a hole into my exhaust about 1/4 inch.
I called and spoke with owners husband, he seemed like he felt bad and said he can cut me a great deal on a new exhaust.
Thing is that i didnt get a deal on upgrades, just spent 586 on crapping craftsmanship and he wants me to dump more money into his store. I dont want new exhaust and i dont want to spend any more money into this bike since im having problems with it.
Another issue is im stuck with this dealership because of location, so the more i get upset at them, they know i have to return warranty work, any advise your willing to share i would appreciate it.
Do you have a loan on the bike? If so contact them and tell them about the problems. All so see if you have a lemon law in your state.
I would not trust most Harley dealers any farther then I can though my 02 ultra. I have been riding Harley s for 42 years none stop and had more problems with them from Macon, GA to Fairbanks Alaska. This is why I do all my own work. When I bought mine new I had valve train noise Harley and Augusta Harley did nothing I had to fix it my self.
Look into rejecting the bike as 'not fit for purpose' and demand a new replacement bike. You may need local legal advice before trying that, so look into it carefully before talking to the dealer. Being stuck in Guam there are not going to be many of us on here with local knowledge.
Hey, tuff luck dude, i feel for ya, anyways the Oil leak, turn signal and BCM are all warranty and have to be repaired within a reasonable amount of time. You'll need to patient as for the exhaust, I wouldn't settle for a great deal. They ruined them now they replace them, even if it means going back to the original ones and then going elswhere to purchase new pipes. Hell if you can afford a new ride you can pop new the pipes too and save originals.....

They Hosed your exhaust, up to them to REPLACE it on their dime. Also there are warranty laws that cover motorcycles, even when lemon laws don't. read up, you may just get a brand new bike out of it. You can always contact the MOCO as well.
Thanks for the info, i have already decided i am not buying anything from them. If i was in the states i would even drive an hour to find another dealer. I will look into those laws. What i am kicking myself for is that i am a welder and fab guy with 18yrs experience and i know full well i could have even taught my kid to do it and come out better. I paid the extra just so they wouldnt void my warranty. I told em i am considering putting my bike in the garage for the remaining time im her because im loosing faith in them. I am 90% complete on having my last bike i got rearended with, on the street. One more question, could riding it with bad bcm cause further damage? Again thanks for the inputs.
