Default Induction module install on 103 motor?

Any tricks to get the induction mod back on?

I can get the left allen heads started in each head but can't get my big fingers in to get the 2 on the right side started, tried longer allen wrenches, one with the ball on the end even, and a pick up tool so far.

The slotted end of the flange goes to the left side it looks like from the manual?

Anybody??
TIA

Al

the slotted flange goes on the left side, leave allen head bolts screwed out enough to be able to move around. I used silicone spray on rubber seals so it slides easily against heads. and put upward pressure with one hand and started the right hand allen heads. they were a bitch to get in. I ended up removing map sensor and was able to get front bolt in with 1/4'' ratchet with a 10'' extension and swivel make sure you get them all started before u tighten up anything.

Thanks, the silicone would have helped.

After fighting with it for almost two hours and getting only three of the four screws in I finally pulled it back off and took the map and IAC off, that gave me more room to work with and I finally got the rear and front right side screws in and then the left side ones.

Had to remove a piece that had what looked like a heim joint on either end to install the IAC, but after fighting with the module that was a piece of cake.

Manual was worthless.

Next time will be easier I suppose, but I still think some engineer should be fired at HD.

They got engineers? I thought they were all commercial psychologists, engineering ways of pushing their products.
