Since having some engine work done, HD stage 4 kit, i be noticed a metallic wire tinging noise while accelerating past 60 through 70 and 80. Its while rolling on the throttle not after I get to cruising speed. I had it with the Dyno tuner. He didn't hear it. Not sure how it could have been missed

 

I think I hear a similar noise to what your describing after the same sort I'd engine work done on mine. I have no idea either what it is.

 

If it is what I am thinking it is you have zero worries. It is more a sound ricochette then anything. I had that sound on mt SG with V&H straight pipes but not on my Ultra with Rinehart true duals. Course now I get a different reflection type sound whenever someone pulls up behind me at lights and such. The tinging I had actually was worse on concrete roads with any type of wall like a bridge.

 

search "pinging" or "spark knock" on the forums. I think that is what you are experiencing. Generally a timing issue usually worse with higher compression builds and higher cylinder head temps.good luck!
