does the noise come and go ??,have a noise ,sounds like the motor is coming apart,only in gear !,opened primary ,spotless !!,changed fluid,adj primary,noise gone,but I don't think that was it,will be out tomorrow for another run,kinda confused !!!

Could be many things. IPB, main shaft bearing, trap door bearing, primary adjuster, compensator or maybe your motor is falling apart!

Miles not necessarily causal to parts failing in twin cam power trains. Going to have to narrow down the when and why of the noise.

Your comp nut could be loose and looking at it you can't tell unless you put a wrench on it to see if it moves

think I found the problem ,I disconnected the fuel moto fuel box,noise gone !!,rode for 60 mi ,no rattle banging,go figure,gonna call jamie tomorrow,see if he can explain this,
