Default NEED HELP PLEASE!!! Will tc88 jugs fit on tc96??

I have a set of TC88 jugs and heads off a 2005 Electra Glide. They have been diamond cut and big bored plus the heads have been "worked".

Just wondering if they will physical fit on a 2011 street glide TC96??? I believe I can get new pistons and make it a 103" and I will not have the top engine mount.

Jugs are the same for TC88 and TC96. The difference in displacement comes from the stroke of the engine. You can bore the jugs to increase TC96 to 103.

yes they will fit,if theve been bored (either 3.875 or 3.935),just get the right pistons for a 4.375" stroke, make sure you mic the pistons & check cylinders with a bore gauge

Default Thanks

Thanks Guys.... they have been bored to 3.875" (I will check all dimensions)
I was told the the Jugs wouldn't fit because of the sleeve on the bottom of the jugs that fit into the casing.

3.875" is the OEM "Big Bore" for to take 88" to 95" and 96" to 103". The cylinders and heads will fit. However, your current bore is 3.750" so you need "stroker" pistons to run the cylinders. Like prodrag advises, check the cylinder bore in torque plates before buying pistons, you might need to go .010" OS to achieve proper fitment.

Additionally, if the heads have been "worked" measure the chamber volume so you can run compression calculations; you need the baseline.

Not having the top motor mount would concern me; don't think I would go that route. I would probably have the '11 heads "worked" and sell the '05 heads so I know what "worked" means.

You can actually have a 107".
Also the f/head will have to be machined to accept the f/motor mounts on your 2011 touring machine.

The sleeve on the jugs that goes down into the case is smaller on the 2005 than the 2011 jugs
