I have an '06 Heritage Softail Classic and I want to change exhaust. I have SE II's on now. First question: how will they differ in sound? Louder? Throatier? Second question: the parts manager of our HD dealership stated that he has seen the support bracket break since there is so much hanging behind it. Has anybody seen or heard of this happening? I have asked several people if they have seen or heard of it and nobody has. Didn't find anything in here on a search either. Opinions are also welcome. I just like the look and the sound is secondary.
Thanks Rhubarb for your response. I have heard them but at the time didn't pay much attention. I am also concerned that my wife will bitc* when riding two up. Assuming you ride with a passenger do they complain about the songs the exhaust play?
I will be able to compare them to Rush Slip-ons by the weekend. Am installing BS Longs this week. I really like the sound of the Rush Slip-ons. But, front cylinder pipe dumping out right under my bride's foot was causing too much noise from the pillion. So changing to BS Longs.
