Installed Andrews 57 cams, se adjustable pushrods, gaterman lifters, zippers red shift cam tensioners and axtel oil bypass. Set pushrods to 3 turns and 3 flats = .146.
The bike started right up, good oil pressure, pushrods, cam chest making all the right noises which I checked with a stethoscope. I did hear the reversion noise coming out of the throttle body, so I went for a ride and the bike doesn't run well above 3500 rpm.
Does this sound like sumping or do I have some other kind of issue???
If you're 100% on the pushrod adjustment & cam alighnments; then yes, after a short ride I'd pull that plug from the bottom of the eng case. I only get a few thimble fulls of oil out of mine. If that's your problem, DJL's got some good suggestions for sealing up the scavenging orafice. Good luck!
Should've mentioned, be gentle putting that plug back in!!!
