Default One Last Slip-On Question...

From me, at least. I've got some Vance & Hines Straightshot Slip-Ons coming today (according to the UPS Tracking system anyway) and I've already asked enough questions to gather that I don't need a PCIII to keep it running properly. However...

What about voiding the warranty? I'll hit my 1000 mile service sometime in the next couple months if it ever stops snowing and raining and I don't want them coming back at me with a voided warranty. Does anyone know if running slip ons with no computer mods voids the warranty since most dealers say you have to upgrade when changing the pipes?

I know I could just do the service myself, but this one's free.

each dealer seems to tell a diff story???
this worry about wnty,,,,,getting out of hand
is your bike gonna break in 1st 1,000 miles? think not
HD says you can add slipons only,, No comp/efi . mods needed
I would recomend it though,,, get V+H fuel pak

Oh I completely agree that there likely won't be any problems during the 2 year warranty period, but better safe than broke. Looking into the fuel pak right now...

You're going to like the mufflers.

Installed a set a few months ago with the Quiet Baffles and they sound GREAT!!!
