As requested, don't mind the oil, dirt, crud and probably sand all over everything. It is a lived in look. The allen head bolt is the drain plug, no way to see it next to the bike, I had to get on the floor just to find it again:
I thought I did a good job of cleaning and sealing my engine cases, but they are leaking before the first startup.
I used Loctite 574 to seal them, which cures in the absence of air and is typically used on air-cooled Porsche cases.
Thinking now that the cases don't fit tight enough for that sealant. It is designed for close fits, like .009" gaps.
Would I have any better luck with another sealant, or should I just get a larger drip pan?

I know the name will get hate but, Yamabond is the best. It does not harden and is a great sealer for darn near anything that holds oil. $15 in November 2024. Awesome stuff. The company also makes similar products like Suzukibond or Hondabond. All are the same stuff.Amazon, eBay or a good parts house will carry it. Not at AutoZone etc places tho..
