My civilianized '42 WLA had it's first public coming out this weekend at the Cavalcade of Cars Show in Syracuse.
To my surprise, I had beginners luck. I won for Best Engine bike. In full disclosure, I did not start this in over a month and degreased it for the show, I even sanded the fins on the head to remove oil stains.
I did however have the residual effect of having three "chrome *****" entries owners chase me with ball bats post awards ceremonies.......
Nice bike!
Congrats on the award. Now let's talk about not firing that baby up for over a month!!! LoL...
I get it, Syracuse, NY, where the summer is designated as the best two weeks of road construction. Just pullin' your leg @Oko. I'm quite envious.
Congratulations, nice looking bike!
I have seen pictures of the bike from club members that where there, Watertown Street Rods and Highway legends are my NY clubs.
